IBS AG Supports Process Management at JOSEF REES KG ZERSPANUNGSTECHNIK

Hoehr-Grenzhausen, 25^th January 2012 – Independent, owner-managed Josef Rees KG Zerspanungstechnik produces precision turned parts in medium and large lot sizes in its 2,500m² production facilities at its plant in Wehingen (Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany). Its corporate philosophy is firmly focused on precision and reliability.

Rees KG Zerspanungstechnik received the Bosch Supplier Award in 2011.

In order to fulfill its high quality standards, the company has developed its own management system for continuous process optimization. This comprises the following:

- Lean Production with principles and measures for efficient planning and organisation of the entire supply chain (value-added)

- Lean Management with methods for continuous process organisation and improvement

- Lean Maintenance for the efficient use of production processes with value-stream-oriented failure management and plant development

The process management system at Josef Rees KG Zerspanungstechnik is supported by the use of IBS software solutions for industrial quality and production management. In doing so, IBS:MES supports the company with the transparent and complete mapping of all production and process-relevant information at production level.
