IBS:vision
The industry is focusing its attention on finding out how added value can be increased in the face of global and industry specific challenges. This requires achieving an increase in productivity whilst managing increasingly short development and time-to-market times, a reduction in the vertical range of manufacture, increasing complexity, a growing range of variants and high cost pressure. The associated requirements are complex and - without software-assisted automation, coupled with a harmonisation of the management and production processes - very difficult to manage.
Our solutions support the necessary integration of Enterprise Resource Planning systems with production-oriented systems. We ensure supply chain transparency, which is why our software solutions and consulting services have become a well-established standard in the field of productivity and compliance management.
IBS:aims
The requirements of our stakeholders are at the heart of all our activities. Our customers‘ wishes and requirements directly shape and influence our software solutions and consulting services. The software enables the optimal control of all processes along the product life cycle and puts the customer in a position to realise rationalisation potentials, i.e. increase productivity and product quality whilst at the same time reducing overall costs.
The compliance management software supports IBS customers in dealing with the growing number of regulatory requirements on the international markets. The IBS Group requires well-qualifi ed, reliable personnel in order to achieve its corporate aims, which is why we continually invest in our employees, e.g. with further training and qualifi cation programs. IBS AG is a reliable partner of research institutes and other companies. The Company is also involved in a number of technological, project-related and strategic partnerships within the scope of cooperations.
Thanks to its involvement in research projects, the Company makes a signifi -
cant contribution towards the development of technical advancements. We remain in ongoing contact with our environment - with our customers, partners, investors, employees and service providers, as well as with political, economic and scientifi c representatives and nonprofi t organisations. From a stakeholder perspective we view ourselves - in terms of our actions - to be an innovative, responsible and sustainable company.
IBS:strategy
Innovations and the further development of our productivity management software suite form an integral part of our strategy. In doing so we focus on the latest technological trends and ensuring the systems‘ ability to integrate at all levels This is achieved via an interface between the IBS software and the Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), enabling linkage of the IBS systems with all other information systems. We are, of course, also striving to continue along our growth path and to open up new industries and markets. This growth, which should be achieved organically, may also be generated on a non-organic basis. For example, we initiated the founding of our Shanghai-based Chinese subsidiary in 2010.
There is increasing consumer demand for environmentally-friendly, socially acceptable and ecologically compatible product manufacturing. The term behind this is sustainability.
Our solutions already support the development and manufacture of innovative technologies and products for the sustainable use of existing, natural energy resources. For example, IBS solutions help in the manufacture of wind power and solar power plants, as well as controlling machine energy efficiency. The compliance management solution assists companies in their compliance with environmental laws and directives.
